Alright I was doing my usual rounds around the iNternets and was inspired when I stopped by Us Versus Them. Team US posed a Challenge to a fellow blogger M Rod. These guys have been posting animated gifs and pairing them with music that fits.

Now as far as I know UvT has created this new internet meme/sensation/tom foolery and deserves the credit. Since it doesn’t have a name yet I am proposing this new meme be called “soundtracking” or just “Tracking”. Someone on the internet get back to me.
Naturally when I saw a challenge was posted I threw my hat in the ring (Brock I hope that’s ok). Here is my submission.

Don’t call it a come back…
Thats right party people. It’s 2:23 am on a chilly February morning and your boy Jonny D can’t sleep so what does he do? Heads straight to the Avenue for a rebirth.
There’s been a lot of talk recently about what happened to the old Code 2 crew. Some speculate that we hopped on oceanic 815 and are currently stranded on an island ( I’m updating from the swan).
Others say we were just addicted to the good times and fell into a terrible habit of constantly clubbing, staying out till 5 am, doing obnoxious amounts of coke with Lindsay Lohan and not blogging (not entirely false).
Finally, last, but not least is my favorite theory. We grew up.
Well not so much up as old. The code 2 crew has graduated college, some are getting married, others making moves

and yours truly is trying to stay forever young living on food stamps and refusing to miss an episode of Jersey Shore.
Side note: Just realized i’ve been listening/watching Live Doppler Radar for the last 10 minutes. Wtf?

I think I’m going to try a twice a week update. Not sure what days so check back often. Might try to get the crew back together for a live blog of the oscars maybe with a guest appearance from UvT? We’ll see.

Now you already know all 53 homies on the team thinkin the same thing, but since you getting paid a third world countries’ net income, you may perhaps vocalize your throughts and suggest said female do an exclusive interview and that you got a mic right here….

VMA Breakdown.
So as usual the code 2 crew decided to break out the live blogging for the MTV Video Music Awards.
Since Royal is stuck in the recession, his ghetto foolishness has left him with 2 laptops but only one power cord. Needless to say his girlfriend needed it to do get some homework done so he was unable to attend. Drama was MIA and El Capitan never got back to me so it looked like I was riding solo (no Derulo).
