Welcome back for some more of this week’s edition of the Sunday School. Be sure to check out the 1st part if you haven’t yet. Needless to say there has been a ton of great Hip-Hop entering my life lately and I want to share it with ya’ll.
Code2Ave has that U-N-I fever ya’ll. I know Royal and I have been bumpin their shit heavy this week. I’m sure you loved the previous few videos as well as the one for K.R.E.A.M. Well we got plenty more for you from U-N-I after the jump. Also appearing will be more of that old religion with a new school feel from Duck Down productions, new shit from Edo G & Masta Ace, a classic from Blu and more magnificent masterpieces from Marcus McFly.
First and foremost I want to suggest that you mark your calenders for May 11. The exclusive code2ave mixtape is dropping on that date and its something you wont want to miss. With that said, I want to introduce you to one of our featured artists, Mr. Marcus McFly.
Where do you represent?: I’m from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Everyone around here calls it E-Town. I guess to make it sound more metropolitan than it actually is. It’s small town living out here. Everyone knows everyone, and who you dont know, you soon will become acquainted with. Picture Mayberry from the Andy Griffith show. That’s my town.
What’s the weather like right now?: The spring is here. I’ve been to madd cities man but nothing is like the springtime in the country man. You can literally walk outside and smell the season. The trees and the flowers and all of that jazz. It’s beautiful. Not to get all sentimental on you.
Why? At first Warner Brothers was looking into developing the script around John Stewart, who was the Black Green Lantern. But after a bunch of corporate bullshit, the movie will be focused on Hal Jordan, the WHITE Green Lantern. At least all you Common lovers can see him in the upcoming Terminator: Salvation, which is going to be sick shit!!!
Remember when Black Eyed Peas were Hip-Hop and not this:
WTF is this shit? What happens to hip-hop artists and their inspiration half the time?!?! They need to regain that hard-on (Si Chester French)!!! In my opinion Fergie ruined this group… this used to be my shit, fuck it, it still is!!!!
But on the real, hip-hop is looking up this year. We got three HUGE mixtapes coming up within the next month.
Big Sean is FINALLY releasing his UKNOWBIGSEAN tape THIS WEEK after months of delays!
Wale x 9th Wonder are FINALLY releasing the Back to the Feature tape at the end of this month after months of delays! Wale IS NOT a fan of Charles Hamilton by the way…. See Why
and the official Code2Ave mixtape is coming MAY 11 featuring the likes of Marcus McFly and many more!!!
So as I sign out, I leave you with these that you should cop:
