JUSTICE!!!!!
This will be in my possession when it comes out. You know I love the hip-hop but I also enjoy Daft Punk and Justice so this has the makings of being Epic.
So since I spent most of Sunday (mother’s day) coolin with Royal, playin Fifa 09, eating pizza, reading comics and not doing anything productive, the review is a bit late. Not too worried about it.
Few things I wanna touch on, namely Cassie and Rihanna (see what I did there?). I’m sure everyone has seen Cassie and Rihanna nekkid pictures by now. Not gonna post those here cause we are a family friendly blog… for the most part, but I will post Chris Brown with panties on his head cause that’s just funny to me (Breezy also made an apperence in the peanuts recently).
My real question is who would you rather put the business to? Rihanna or Cassie? Right now I’m leanin towards Rihanna solely based on that booty. Didn’t know she was carrying like that. Completely not mad at her anymore for taking an hour to set up during the Glow in the Dark show me, El Capo and Royal went to last spring.
Last week in attempts to win some money or recognition for the Code2Ave from JumpOff.TV I attempted to guess how well Mike Jones album was gonna do. It sold 24,825 units in its first week… I thought it would do 32,000. My guess made as much sense as going to college for 6 or more years with aspirations of becoming a gym teacher. I admit me and Royal did love that shit back when we were freshman but we, just like the rest of the world, grew out of that terrible southern rap fad.
I also caught this last week I saw this Punisher digital comic featuring Eminem, it’s worth a look if you’re into hip-hop, comics and just all around fuckery.
There may finally be hip-hop (other then Beastie Boys) in those guitar and rock band genre games. The homie Medina sent me a link to this. That’s right, a turntable video game. If Kid Capri, Tony Touch, Mixmaster Mike, Jam Master Jay and Grandmaster Flash and all the other legends of the wheels of steel appear in this game, I would drop any amount of money on getting it. Check out what the controller might look like.
Also get all all of last week’s illest new mixtapes at the homie Kevin Nottingham’s site. Dude hooked it up.
If you have a shitty taste in music and live near Grand Rapids, be sure to check out Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane and the GS Boys at the Deltaplex this summer.
A list of things you will see there:
Fuckery
White people
Everyone who still live at the apartments I grew up at
Copious amounts of stanky leg
Thick yet oddly shaped ugly girls
A list of things you will not see there:
Me
Talent
Anyone with an IQ over 80
Respectable women
I leave you with a little bit about race, hip-hop and Asher Roth. I’ve never given a shit about what I’ve said, many would agree but some people need to know what is alright and what isn’t. Peep it.
A lot of times it’s difficult to figure out what is appropriate and what isn’t. I’ll just go ahead and let out the secret that no one knows yet, it’s never appropriate to refer to anything race based when talking to or about black people. Never ever have I seen an Indian dude get pissed off about being called Squanto as much as I have seen a random black dude get pissed off about me wearing a cotton shirt…. I keed, but for real, shit is crazy out there in the world. Race isn’t and never will be an issue to me… unless I’m trying to get a job and they see my name and can’t pronounce it then see me and think I’m going to blow the place up. But I don’t care what race my friends are; we’re all the human race and that’s what we need to realize(except for Turks of course). Just don’t say stupid shit unless you A) don’t give a fuck or B) don’t mind catching a beat down.
That brings me to the end of this weeks update. I Didn’t listen to anything I was going to listen to this last week. Blame my XBOX which unfortunately may be broken now… my life is in shambles, I know. Least you may be hearing more from me now. Be on the lookout for a few more writers providing a women’s perspective here pretty soon, we’ve got some things in the works here at Code 2 Avenue which I’m sure you will appreciate. Also, who is in for Rock the Bells in the Chi? Need to know soon cause I plan on spending that $100+ for a ticket sometime this week… inflation.
