Hello internets, it’s been awhile…

Back in April I stumbled upon this group consisting of singer/songwriter Ted Wendler, producer/vocalist Ben Hazlegrove, & Drummer Lane Shaw… They are an electro pop outfit from Virginia/Tennessee/Iowa…

I first heard the following song, “She Make’s Me Feel,” and instantly looked up other shit I could find on them; Which was scarce and can be found on their my space

Their shit is so smooth, love the sound and the vocals are nice too… Shortly after I started getting into them, I found out they were managed by Shae, of N*E*R*D fame, and it all made sense. He’s even talked about them in a few mtv.com interviews… Anywho, back in April it was also announced that a mixtape would becoming out “soon” mixed by Benzi & Diplo, both are the shit. Of course in mixtape years “soon” means “6 months to a year from now.”

So that brings us to today, 6 months later, and we finally have word on the tape… It’ll be dropping next tuesday sometime! it’s described as a remix album which I’m assuming they are keeping their own shit for the album and mixing up some other shit they had in the ammo can and throwing it our way.

Here is the first track off that below, “Gimpse of the Future” remixed by Xaphoon Jones (The chemist of Chiddy Bang)

I love the internet.

I hate trying to build from scratch on the internet (that’s why you hire your friends to work for you and build websites from scratch…coming soon new code2ave… shameless plug).

Anywho since code2ave dot com is down, I’m hoping that fools are being forwarded BACK to our wordpress dot com page where the dream continues on.  I wanted to take a mintue to give some nods/love/appreciate/respeK to a couple homies around them internets who’ve either messed with Code2ave in the past, one of the nonsensical blogs we wrote before creating code2ave, or folks that don’t even know we are in exsistence.
